Pittsford resident Andy Napolitano has recently advanced to the rank of Eagle Scout as a member of Boy Scout Troop #341 for his work in leading the construction of a boardwalk on the Monkey Run Trail in Victor.
The two-section boardwalk will provide a safe stretch of trail for hikers that can be used year-round. The construction of the boardwalk took place over two weekends and totaled 147 volunteer hours from 22 schoolmates and scouts.
Napolitano, a junior at McQuaid Jesuit High School, will be honored for his work at a Court of Honor ceremony this spring.
