John Welch Enterprise of Victor is stepping up this winter to help local military families with snow removal as a way to say thank you for their hard work, sacrifice and dedication to this country. JWE has become an active participant in Project EverGreen’s SnowCare for Troops program, a new community-based program to provide free snow removal services for military families with a spouse or family member currently deployed in the Armed Forces.
Before the first snow fall, area military families are urged to register for participation in the SnowCare for Troops program by calling the John Welch Enterprise, Inc. office at (585) 924-SNOW. Participation in the program is limited.
This local effort is in cooperation with snowplow and landscape professionals across the country who also donate services and time to ease the burden on military families seeking help on the home front. The SnowCare for Troops program is underwritten by THE BOSS Snowplow.
The SnowCare for Troops program is an addition to the five-year program, GreenCare for Troops, managed by Project EverGreen that has already provided free lawn and landscape services to thousands of military families. This program now has more than 12,000 military families in its database and is supported by nearly 3,400 green industry professionals and volunteers.
