District voters approved  a $55 million budget 996 to 363. The tax rate will increase by 0.94 percent, to $16.39 per $1,000 of assessed value.

A proposition to spend $625,000 to purchase four 77-passenger buses and two 30-passenger buses passed 970 to 358. Officials anticipate state aid will cover 60 percent of the bus purchase.

Challenger Michael Young and incumbents Timothy DeLucia and Kathryn Hart were elected to serve on the school board, edging Jenner Davis and Carl Herke.
