Victor Hiking Trails volunteers recently completed a 40-foot wooden truss bridge crossing an unnamed tributary of Irondequoit Creek.
Designed by local engineer Joe Logan, the bridge was funded through a grant from the American Hiking Society. The bridge connects the Domine Loop Trail which in turn connects to the Lehigh Trail to the south. Over the course of several weekends, Victor Hiking Trails volunteers contributed more than 200 hours to bring the bridge to completion.
