The Webster-Fairport Elks Lodge #2396 held our annual Sportsman Raffle on Sept. 9, 2012 which was a huge success. The Sportsmen committee — Bob and Sandi Knapp, Bill Dinse, Mark and Lynn Sedore, Murray Notebaert and Sue Fox — would like to thank all the Elks, Lady Elks, guests and friends who lent a helping hand. Without all of their support and hard work, the raffle would not have been as rewarding. Webster-Fairport Elks Lodge will use the proceeds from this raffle to support many charitable programs they sponsor, such as local youth groups, cerebral palsy, the veterans, and scholarships.
The Elks would also like to acknowledge the following local businesses for their contributions to the raffle: Altra Rental; Jim Wilbert’s (sweet corn); Beikirch’s; Joe’s Meat Market; Dick’s Sporting Goods (Webster store); Jim Hall (tents); Factory Direct Trailers; Off The Hook Fishing Charter; Guernin-Teed Archery Inc.; Orr Safety; Hanes Supply; Rochester Beer & Beverage; Industrial Furnace Co., Inc.
