The Victorian-era hotel was the subject of a SyFy Channel "Ghost Hunters" episode.

The historic Naples Hotel at 111 S. Main St. will host an open house from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 25. The open house will include tours of renovated and restored rooms as well as live music and giveaways.

A Victorian-era landmark, the Naples Hotel has been doing business continuously since it opened in 1895, when it was dubbed "the finest brick hotel in Ontario County." Prominent visitors have included radio news commentator Paul Harvey and Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, when he was U.S. attorney general.

More recently, the hotel hosted a paranormal investigation group from the SyFy Channel "Ghost Hunters" series and was the subject of an episode based on a legendary spirit in the hotel known as "Topper.” The episode first aired in January 2012.
