CANANDAIGUA — Three people are in the running to replace Canandaigua School Superintendent Lynne Erdle, who is retiring at the end of the school year.

The Canandaigua City School District Board of Education has narrowed its search to three finalist candidates.

Matthew Cole is superintendent of schools at Livonia Central School District. Cole has previously served as elementary school principal, curriculum coordinator/staff developer and secondary social studies teacher for Livonia schools.

Linda Doty is elementary principal for Oswego City School District. Doty was previously a director of AIS/data management, director of grants and partnerships and principal for the Oswego City School District.

Travis Warnick is principal at the Shadow Ridge High School in the Clark County School District in Las Vegas, Nevada. Warnick was previously a middle school principal, high school assistant principal, and middle school assistant principal for the Clark County School District.

The three finalists are now scheduled for daylong interviews on Monday, March 27, Tuesday, March 28, and Wednesday, March 29.
