Resident seeks special use permit for 8833 Briggs St. to allow “mindfulness retreats, meditation workshops, yoga and religious/spiritual ceremonies."

The Richmond Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing Tuesday, Feb. 21, on a resident’s request for special use of a 44.3-acre property. Scott Gillen seeks a special use permit for 8833 Briggs St. to allow “mindfulness retreats, meditation workshops, yoga and religious/spiritual ceremonies,” according to the application.
Citizens will be able to comment and ask questions about the request at Tuesday’s public hearing before the ZBA. The public hearing will begin at 7 p.m. at Richmond Town Hall, 8690 Main St. in the hamlet of Honeoye.
