The Ontario County Police Benevolent Association will host an evening of comedy and refreshments to help support programs that help build the bond between law enforcement and the community Jan. 20 at the Inn on the Lake, 770 S. Main St., Canandaigua.

Canandaigua Kiwanis Club, Victor-Farmington Kiwanis Club and Team Back the Blue for Piper Jae will host “Serving It Up for the Blue” from 5 to 7 p.m. Each team will do what they can to earn the most tips during the free event, and the winner will take all the proceeds for their cause. The event will feature food and drink specials, raffles and a 50/50 drawing.

“Stand Up for the Blue” at 8 p.m. will feature comedian Paul Venier, who has performed on “The Tonight Show,” HBO and Comedy Central as a comedian, musician, actor, writer and producer. Tickets cost $20, and the show is for ages 18 and older.
