Over 800 pets found their forever home thanks to a holiday gift. A California real estate agent offered to pay all the adoption fees at the Front Animal Shelter in CA through the end of the year. There were so many adoptions that the Front Street shelter took in animals from other California shelters to meet demand.

A Sacramento woman helped over 800 animals find homes this holiday season.

The TODAY Show reports that Kim Pacini-Hauch, a California real estate agent, offered to cover all the adoption fees at the Front Animal Shelter through the end of the year.

Around 800 pets have since been adopted through the “Home for the Pawlidays” promotion that launched in mid-November. Typically, the shelter sees 400 to 500 adoptions per month.

There were so many adoptions that the Front Street shelter took in animals from other California shelters to meet demand.
