Holiday Laser show at Strasenburgh Planetarium, through Jan. 2, 663 East Ave, Rochester. The Planetarium's family holiday spectacular returns! Favorite holiday songs play back-to-back, choreographed with dancing laser light among the stars of the Planetarium sky. Produced at the Strasenburgh Planetarium, it's a Rochester tradition for family, friends, and out-of-town visitors. This year’s playlist includes: Sleigh Ride by Leroy Anderson — Rochester Pops Orchestra, It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year — Andy Williams, All I Want for Christmas — Mariah Carey, Blue Christmas — Elvis Presley, Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree — Brenda Lee and many more. 2. Cookie Walk

Cookie Walk: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 18, St. Patrick’s Church, 115 Maple Ave., Victor. Attendees can shop through tables of cookies, which cost $8 per pound. Proceeds will benefit Serenity House of Victor. For information: 585-489-7787.

 

3. ‘The Nutcracker’
