Ferraro has been a thoroughbred trainer since 1983 and has recorded a total of 28 stakes victories. Fox Rules won the one mile and one-sixteenth stake by six and one-half lengths under jockey Pedro Rodriguez. The 12-1 outsider covered the annual event for New York-bred 3-year-olds in a final time of 1:45.95.
Longshot of the Week: The finish of Tuesday’s fourth race resulted in the largest win payout of the season. Rockstar One O One held on to win the event by a nose under jockey Guillermo Rodriguez at odds of 83-1. The Arcadio Lopez-trainee was part of a trifecta that returned $10,201.00 for a $2.00 wager
