Steven P. Metzger, Vice President and Director of Civil Engineering for LaBella Associates, P.C., was recently named the Victor YMCA’s 2012 Adult Volunteer of the Year by the YMCA of Greater Rochester.
This year, 28 honorees, including Metzger, were recognized for their involvement with different YMCA branches across Rochester at a ceremony held at Frontier Field on June 6.
Metzger is currently the vice chair for the Victor YMCA’s Advisory Board, and has been involved in planning efforts for the 2012 Totally Finger Lakes Wine Tasting event held in March, and the Victor 5K Race to benefit the YMCA’s Invest in Youth campaign, occurring in September. He currently lives in Victor with wife, Jenny, and kids, Patrick and Kate.
