Golisano Foundation founder Tom Golisano was invited by former President Bill Clinton to speak at the Clinton Global Initiative Sunday afternoon.

He spoke about his $12 million commitment to expand Special Olympics’ health services for people with intellectual disabilities.

“There is nothing more challenging or more urgent than delivering healthcare to a population that is hidden away,” Golisano said.

The donation is the largest single gift the Special Olympics has ever received from one person. It's also the first donation made by Golisano that will have an international impact.

The gift will be given over four years.
