A Rochester man was charged at about 5:15 a.m. July 15 after allegedly striking a pedestrian with his vehicle on Fort Hill Avenue, said Canandaigua City Police.
Jordan E. Randolph, 26, of 31 Hubbell Park, was charged with driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration, second-degree harassment and failure to exercise due care to avoid a pedestrian, police said. Randolph also allegedly almost struck a police officer with his vehicle while they were investigating an unrelated domestic dispute.
According to police, when officers attempted to arrest him, Randolph allegedly attempted to flee from the scene. During the arrest, an officer sustained injuries, police added. The officer was treated at F.F. Thompson Hospital and released.
Randolph was arraigned in the Town of Canandaigua Court and sent to the Ontario County Jail on $750 cash bail or $1,000 bail bond.
