Authorities are investigating after a man was killed when a piece of farming equipment fell on him in Chili.
The incident happened around 11:30 a.m. Friday at a building at 2380 Scottsville Road.
According to Cpl. John Helfer from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, Michael Krenzer, 53, of 2380 Scottsville Road, Chili, became trapped underneath a combine cutter head that had been lifted up by a forklift.
A co-worker pulled the victim out from underneath the equipment, which weighs nearly 2,000 pounds, before emergency responders arrived.
Members of the Chili Fire Department responded to the call, according to Chief Kevin Steeves. Steeves, who was not at the scene, said it was described to him as a "graphic sight."
