A fallen soldier will be honored later today during a dedication ceremony.
A part of I-390 in Steuben County will officially be designated the "Sergeant Devin A. Snyder Memorial Highway."
Snyder, who served in the U.S. Army, was killed in June 2011 while serving in Afghanistan. The Cohocton native was the first female soldier from western New York to die in the war.
The portion of highway extends from Exit 2 in Cohocton to Exit 3 in the town of Wayland.
The dedication ceremony will be held at 5 p.m. at the Lawrence Parks Recreation area on Atlanta Back Road in Cohocton.
