All-night cram sessions may actually hurt teens more than help them.
 
Researchers at UCLA studied more than 500 high school students over a two-week period.

They found those who stayed up late to study performed worse on tests, quizzes and homework than those who went to bed on time.
 
They're not suggesting teens cut back on their studies — rather they say getting it done before bed is better for their report card.
