On Saturday, May 5, starting at 4 p.m., Fishers firefighters and public officials will unveil a new 9/11 memorial at the Fishers fire station #2, 380 High Street in Victor. The memorial, which is inside the firehouse, includes a section of steel beam from one of the World Trade Center twin towers, as well as glass work by renowned glass artist Nancy Gong, photo treatments by Keith Trammel and brass plaques by Haskell Monuments. Fishers firefighters built the concrete base and made the crushed concrete that is part of the memorial.
