The toes tell the story, and more than 1,000 were tapping on Saturday at the first of three annual Snowscapes concerts hosted by Victor Parks and Recreation.
Setting the beat at the Jan. 26 afternoon concert was The Gateswingers Big Band, which rocked the house with classics like “All of Me,” “I’ve Got You Under My Skin,” “The Lady is a Tramp,” “My Way,” and “But Not For Me.”
Fronting the 14-piece band with lead vocals were Mary Wojciechowski and Tony Ferra.
On Saturday, Feb. 9, the series will wrap up with a performance by 78 RPM, an 18-piece big band that delivers both classics and pop.
Refreshments are provided at the free concerts, which all take place at the Early Childhood Education Center auditorium, 953 High Street, Victor. For more information call (585) 742-0140.
