Three event highlights
1 - Proper disposal of unwanted or expired medications will keep them away from children, profiteers, and out of the public water supply.
2 - What kinds of drugs may be dropped off? Unused, expired, and unwanted prescription drugs, over-the-counter medicines and personal care products from Victor households.
3 - All of the medications will be taken to the Covanta Niagara municipal solid waste facility by Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies for destruction via incineration.
How to drop off
Leave all drugs in their original bottles. For prescription drugs, you may black out patient’s name but be sure to leave the name of the drug visible on the label. Put the medications into a plastic or paper bag. Enter the school campus through the High St. entrances, bear right and follow the signs to the collection site. Stay in your vehicle at all times. Drive up to the collection area and place your bag or bags into a tray held by one of the designated persons wearing an orange vest. Follow the one-way traffic pattern out of the parking lot.
