Scott Swigert is 17 years old, a Junior at Victor Senior High School, and lives with his dad and mom, Scott and Cindy, and his older sister Kim.
What activity or project have you tackled that has been the most challenging and rewarding?
Probably my eagle scout project, even though I haven't quite finished it yet.
How did you get involved with that project?
Boy Scouts
What makes it rewarding?
It has taught me a lot on how scrutinizing you have to be with filling out paperwork, and how to lead others.
Who has most inspired you to be the person you are today?
There really isn't one person. I'd say it’s between Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson or Adam Montoya (SeaNanners).
How do you balance all your time commitments?
I am honestly terrible at personal management. Without my mom, I'd be a wreck.
What do you could choose any career in the world, what would you be?
Ones I've seriously considered are pharmacist, meteorologist, professional golfer, actor/musician and politician.
What’s on your iPod?
You name it, I have it — classical, rap, show tunes, rock, country, etc.
What do you do for fun?
Golf, sing, act — really anything that gets me active, even though I do love my video games.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Australia or London
What’s your favorite food?
Pizza, pizza, pasta, and pizza
What's your best advice for other students your age?
Usually, students my age tend to get very stressed over studying or failing tests specifically. The best way to conquer those fears, is to not acknowledge them.
